  • About author:Rui-Zhi Wu is a foreign member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He is currently a professor and PhD supervisor at Harbin Engineering University. Now he is the executive vicedirector of the Key Laboratory of Superlight Materials & Surface Technology, Ministry of Education, China. He received his PhD degree in 2006 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His main research interests are superlight magnesium-lithium (Mg-Li) alloys and aluminum-lithium (Al-Li) alloys. He has published more than 150 SCI-indexed papers and one book (Preparation and Processing Technologies for Advanced Magnesium Alloys) at Scientific Press in China. The H-index is currently 40. He received the First-Class Science and Technology Awards from China Magnesite & Material Association, and 4 Second-Class Science and Technology Awards from Heilongjiang Province. He is the honorary chairman of China Youth Scholars Society for Magnesium Alloys and council member of Magnesium Alloy Branch of China Society for Materials Research. He serves as the editorial board members of Acta Metallurgica Sinica (English Letters), Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, and Metals.
    Yong Liu is currently a distinguished professor, PhD supervisor and Vice Dean of School of Advanced Manufacturing at Nanchang University. Now he is the director of the Key Laboratory of Lightweight and High Strength Structural Materials of Jiangxi Province, China. He received his PhD degree in 2008 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His main research interests are the design and preparation of advanced magnesium alloys and additive manufacturing. He has published more than 80 SCI-indexed papers. The H-index is currently 26. He possesses more than 20 patents. He received the awards including Technical Invention award and Natural Science award of Jiangxi Province. He is the vice chairman of China Youth Scholars Society for Magnesium Alloys and council member of Magnesium Alloy Branch of China Society for Materials Research. He serves as the young editorial board members of Journal of Magnesium and Alloys and Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China (Chinese and English versions).
