Abstract: For two common types of liquid-solid heterogeneous reactions,the kinetic equations have been established which involved both the variation of liquid reactant concentration and the va- riation of solid reactant geornetry with the reaction time.The experimental results show that the kinetic equations are more accurate and reasonable than those appeared in previous litera- tures.Moreover,they are also suitable for gas-solid heterogeneous reactions in principle.
