Abstract: Dynamiccharacteristicsof forming of particlesreinforced metal matrix compositesbycastingunder counter gravityareanalyzedinthispaper.Itispointed outthatthereexists much dif ferenceinfluiditybetweenthecompositesandthe matrix alloyduetothedifferencein viscosityandequivalentsolidification latent. Filling capability can be greatly improved by adoptingcounter gravity process, andthin walled precision castingscan beshaped .
